LEO III Fund has signed an agreement to acquire JPT Peptide Technologies GmbH from BioNTech Diagnostics GmbH
The LEO III Fund, advised by DUBAG Group, has signed an agreement to acquire JPT Peptide Technologies GmbH from BioNTech Diagnostics GmbH.
Founded in 2004 as a spin-off from Jerini AG, JPT is one of the leading international providers of peptide-based research and development solutions. Operating from Berlin, the company serves more than 20,000 customers in over 100 countries across biopharma, cell and gene therapy, vaccine development, immunology, proteomics and academic research. JPT employs approximately 130 people and has been ISO 9001 certified since 2004.
As a stand-alone company under the LEO III Fund, JPT will continue to invest in its technology platform, aims to accelerate its international development across Europe and North America, and plans to further diversify its portfolio of peptide solutions.
