In 2009 he founded DUBAG. Prior to that, Michael held several jobs in the buy-out industry, lastly as Managing Director of stock-listed PE investor Arques Industries.

Emanuel is a Partner at DUBAG. Before founding DUBAG together with Michael and Christoph in 2009, he worked for the M&A department of Fresenius Medical care as well as stock-listed PE investor Arques Industries focusing on turnarounds and distressed M&A. Emanuel holds a Master in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London.

Christoph is a Partner at DUBAG. Before founding DUBAG together with Michael and Emanuel in 2009, he held a job in the M&A department of stock-listed PE investor Arques Industries. Christoph started his career at Sparkasse Köln/Bonn and graduated from University of Cologne focusing on Corporate Finance.

Florian is a Partner at DUBAG and heading the operations department of DUBAG. He graduated from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Prior to joining DUBAG, Florian worked as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group focusing on the areas industrial goods and energy.

Being a divergent thinker with a hands-on mentality, Raphael Marold pursued a distinctive double degree Master program, graduating with a Master of Science in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich and with the Grand Ecole Master in Management (specializing in International Finance, Majeure Finance) from the HEC Paris.
During his studies he gained 3 ½ years of profound experience as an Intern and Working Student at the Valuation & Strategy department at PwC as well as an Investment Banking Intern at Raymond James. Most recently, he worked as Freelance Consultant for diverse Private Equity firms.

With a background as M&A professional as well as transaction expert focusing on large- and mid-cap private equity clients, Max Fidel is a skilled investment professional with a focus on company transactions.
He graduated from the University of Regensburg with a Bachelor of Science and holds a Master of Science from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Max started his career in PwC’s audit department and qualified as a German chartered accountant (Wirtschaftsprüfer) in 2016. He has since held jobs as transaction expert at PwC and M&A professional at Carlsquare, before joining the DUBAG investment team in 2021.

Max is an Investment Professional at DUBAG. He graduated from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich with both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science specializing in international taxation and accounting. He is currently working on his PhD in the area of family business crises. Max started his career at Ebner Stolz Management Consultants in 2017 focussing on M&A advisory and restructuring for medium-sized companies (“Mittelstand”). Since 2022 Max is part of the DUBAG investment team.

Moritz is an Operations Manager at DUBAG. He started his career with a combined course of study at Hamburg Commercial Bank and Duale Hochschule Schleswig-Holstein from which he graduated with both a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a qualification as a banking professional.
In 2019, Moritz joined Deloitte’s Operational Transaction Services department where he supported a variety of clients on different M&A-related projects such as Carve Outs, Operational Due Diligences or Post Merger Integrations. Since 2022, Moritz is part of the DUBAG operations team.

Marvin brings his experience as a consultant in operational restructuring, turnaround management, as well as Commercial and Financial Due Diligence which he gained at KPMG, focusing on the areas of health care and consumer products.

Lawyer by studies, serial entrepreneur by nature and professional CEO by vocation, Massimo is an expert in carve-outs, operative and financial restructurings, and internationalization of mid-size companies. As CEO of companies like Irplast SpA, Nardi SpA, Fucine Film Solutions or Panapesca USA, and nowadays at SPICA, he has the field experience necessary to lead companies to success.
Through his hands-on experience with Indian, Chinese, Russian, American, and European companies, Massimo became a multicultural catalyzer for international expansion opportunities, in sectors like machinery, petrochemicals, fashion, food, technology, packaging, and last but not least financials services. In his role as CEO of SPICA, Massimo is using his multi-disciplinary know-how to give SPICA an innovative approach.

Michael is Operations Executive at DUBAG, serving as CEO, CFO or CRO.
Michael graduated from the University of Vienna as Master of Business Administration and started as a management consultant at PwC. Subsequently, after spending five years in investment banking, he moved to the industrial sector in 2010, which marked the start of Michael’s career in corporate Restructuring. For more than 10 years, Michael held various managing director positions for German, Austrian, Italian, UK and Hungarian group entities, as well as Group CFO, CRO and CEO mandates in industrial groups, both PE owned as well as privately held, with a yearly turnover between EUR 100 and 500m across Europe and worldwide. Currently, Michael is CEO of epsotech, a pan-European manufacturer of extruded plastic sheets, and together with a dedicated team, is paving the group’s path to long-term profitability, innovation, sustainability and digitization.
